Traditional East Asian Medicine

Ancient Therapies to Soothe the Modern Human

Acupuncture is more popular than ever.  Seems like many more Western practitioners these days want to use the traditional tools of an acupuncturist to help you, from prescribing herbal formulas to wielding an acupuncture needle.

A classically trained acupuncturist has over 2000 hours of clinical training in using these traditional tools (needles, gua sha, cupping).  I have an additional two years of study, including more than 210 hours of clinical prescriptive and dispensary practice in safely using herbal formulas.

Acupuncturists' licenses are issued by the medical board in the states in which I hold an active license (Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania).   We, like other professionals, are required to take continuing education to maintain and renew our licenses.

We are well-trained in our medicine and we can help you in ways you cannot imagine.  Come find out how.

Vision

Traditional East Asian Medicine is more than acupuncture, more than traditional east asian or chinese herbal formulas, and more than our other techniques such as moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, et cetera.

What we do so powerfully is to listen deeply to your story, to your body, and find the root of the ailment.   Our ability to hold a different vision of you in perfect health, a different view of what is ailing you, is what helps us treat you effectively.
